This website was merely a passion project by a local resident. There are no formal terms and conditions. It's a case of "use it, don't use it". The purpose is to serve newcomers with some core information to help them settle in to the neighbourhood and to get them connected via the social and security groups. For existing residents, the map and directory offer quick-to-access contact information, when needed to direct a courier or holiday guest, or (touch wood) in case of emergencies.

Everything you read, apart from the articles on the History page, is from my keyboard – thus pretty much my own opinions and observations as a resident. For this privilege, I am carrying the costs of this website – built it from my pocket, in spare time I didn't have and which was skimmed off time with my children or hours I should've worked and earned an income. I also carry the annual domain and monthly hosting costs.

There are also no privacy policy, disclaimer or copyright notice. It's a free-for-all-in-Rheenendal. Pretty please point out any errors (keep in mind that English is my second language and this site was done during late night hours) or where you feel the information is misleading or not accurate. Any suggestions for changes or additions are welcome, but may not be implemented or only done so when possible for me to spend time on the website.

In terms of privacy... This website is intended for Rheenendallers. If you are offering a service or product to the community, or if you are on the existing Whatsapp groups, your information is already available to other residents. However, if your details appear here and you'd like it to be removed, please contact me.
